Franz Oppelmayer is the owner and winemaker. This winery has been in the same family for more than 11 generations. Oppelmayer sits near the ancient Roman city of Carnuntum, in Gottlesbrunn, Austria. The winery features different animals on each of its labels, signaling its desire to work in harmony with nature.Dedicato de Patris is importing the Rubin Carnuntum 2006, a fine, estate-grown wine of 100 percent Zweigilt. The region is famous for Zweigelt, which produces a garnet, red wine with violet shimmers. Enjoy the Rubin for its intense fruity nuances, fresh, dark berried fruit, and well-integrated tannins.
