Vigneto San Vito

A golden treasure lies in the hills outside of Bologna, Italy, and Federico Orsi is busy working to bottle it. Orsi, an Italian who grew up in Brazil, has recently returned to his motherland and turned his hand to winemaking. Orsi and his Italian wife, Carola, have purchased the Vigneto San Vito winery near Orsi’s family estate in the wine region Colli Bolognesi. Orsi’s efforts with the Pignoletto Superiore have elevated the unusual varietal from a regional favorite to an international player.
